Confirmation
Confirmation is the sacrament that completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It strengthens the Christian to live out their faith boldly and to be a witness to Christ in the world.
Benefits of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation:
- Deepening of baptismal grace
- Strengthening of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
- Empowerment to witness to Christ
- Fuller integration into the Church
How to Receive the Sacrament of Confirmation:
Preparation for Confirmation is available for teenagers, usually starting in the 9th grade, through our Youth Ministry program. Adults who seek to be Confirmed can participate in the OCIA program.

Youth Confirmation
The Diocese of Venice requires a minimum of 2 continuous years of religious instruction before receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Sacramental preparation for Confirmation can begin as early as the summer of a teen's 9th grade year. Preparation includes Confirmation classes and weekly High School Youth Group meetings. Information and links are included below.
Confirmation Class Schedule
Confirmation classes are held on the first Sunday of each month from 4:00–6:30 PM. This includes a mandatory Youth Mass at 5:30 PM that all families are invited to attend with their student!
Please note: The September class will be held on Sunday, September 13, rather than the first Sunday of the month.
Following each class, students are invited to remain for
Adoration from 6:30–7:00 PM. While attendance at Adoration is
optional, it is
strongly encouraged as an important opportunity to deepen their relationship with Christ through prayer and quiet reflection.
Confirmation Registration for the 2026-2027 Academic Year is now OPEN!
