Confirmation is the sacrament that completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It strengthens the Christian to live out their faith boldly and to be a witness to Christ in the world.

Benefits of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation:

  • Deepening of baptismal grace
  • Strengthening of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
  • Empowerment to witness to Christ
  • Fuller integration into the Church

How to Receive the Sacrament of Confirmation:

Preparation for Confirmation is available for teenagers, usually starting in the 9th grade, through our Youth Ministry program. Adults who seek to be Confirmed can participate in the OCIA program.
