Gather Us In
Marty Haugen

Here in this place new
light is streaming, now
is the darkness vanished
away, See in this space
our fears and our
dreamings brought here
to you in the light
of this day . Gather
us in - the lost and
forsaken, gather us in -
the blind and the lame;
call to us now and
we shall awaken, we
shall arise at the
sound of our name.

We are the young - our
lives are a myst'ry, we
are the old who yearn
for your face, we
have been sung
throughout all of hist'ry
, called to be light
to the whole human
race. Gather is in - the
rich and the haughty,
gather us in - the
proud and the strong;
give us a heart so
meek and so lowly,
give us the courage
to enter the song.

Glory to God

Glory to God
in the highest, and
on earth, peace to people
of good will.
We praise you, we
bless you , we adore
you, we glorify you,
we give you thanks for
your great glory.
Lord God, heavenly
King, O God, almighty
Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, Only
Begotten Son, Lord God,
Lamb of God, Son of
the Father,
you take away the sins
of the world, have
mercy on us;
you take away the sins
of the world, receive
our prayer; you are
seated at the right
hand of the Father,
have mercy on us.
For you alone are the
Holy One, you alone
are the Lord, you alone
are the Most High,
Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of
God the Father.
Amen. Amen.

Responsorial Psalm:

The Lord has done
great things for us;
we are filled with joy.

The Nicene Creed

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and
earth, of all things
visible and invisible.
I believe in one
Lord, Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son
of God, born of the
Father before all ages.
God from God,
Light from Light,
true  God from true
God, begotten, not
made, consubstantial
with the Father;
through him all things
were made. For us
men and for our
salvation he came
down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the
Virgin Mary, and
became man.
For our sake he was
crucified under
Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and
was buried, and rose
again on the third
day in accordance
with the Scriptures.
He ascended into
heaven and is seated
at the right hand of
the Father.He will
come again in glory
to judge the living and
the dead and his
kingdom will have
no end. I believe in
the Holy Spirit, the
Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from
the Father and the
Son, who with the
Father and the Son
is adored and
glorified, who has
spoken through the
prophets. I believe
in one , holy, catholic
and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism
for the forgiveness of
sins and I look
forward to the
resurrection of the
dead and the life of
the world to come.
Amen.

Amazing Grace
John Newton

Amazing grace! How
sweet the sound that
saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but
now am found, was
blind but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught
my heart to fear,
and grace my fears
relieved; how precious
did that grace appear
the hour I first believed.

The Lord has promised
good to me, his word
my hope secures; he
will my shield and
portion be as long
as life endures.

Through many dangers,
toils and snares I have
already come; 'Tis grace
has brought me safe
thus far, and grace
will lead me home.

\When we've been
there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun,
we've no less days
to sing God's praise
then when we first
begun.

Table of Plenty
Dan Schutte
(refrain)
Come to the feast of
heaven and earth.
Come to the table
of plenty. God will
provide for all that
we need here at the
table of plenty.

There's a Wideness
In God's Mercy

text: FrederickW. Faber
There's a wideness in
God's mercy like the
wideness of the sea;
there's a kindness in
his justice which is
more than liberty. There
is plentiful redemption
in the blood that
has been shed, there
is joy for all the
members in the sorrows
of the Head.

For the love of God
is broader than the
measures of our mind,
and the heart of the
Eternal is most wonderfully
kind. If our love were
but more simple we
should take him at
his word, and our lives
would be thanksgiving
for the goodness of
our Lord.
