Sunday's Mass Music
(and Creed)
Gather Us In
                 Marty Haugen
Here in this place
new light is streaming,
now is the darkness
vanished away, see
in this space our fears
and our dreamings,
brought here to you
in the light of this day.
Gather us in the lost
and forsaken, gather
us in the blind and
the lame; call to us
now and we shall
awaken, we shall arise
at the sound of our
name.

We are the young our
lives are a myst'ry, we
are the old who
yearn for your face,
we have been sung
throughout all of
his'try, called to be
light to the whole
human race.
Gather us in the rich
and the haughty,
gather us in the
proud and the strong;
give us a heart so
meek and so lowly,
give us the courage to
enter the song.

Glory to God
Setting by: Liam Lawton

Glory to God in the
highest, glory to God
in the highest, glory to
God, glory to God
and on earth, peace
to people of good will.
We praise you, we
bless you, we adore
you, we glorify you,
we give you thanks
for your great glory,
Lord God, Heavenly
King, O God, Almighty
Father.
Glory to God in the
highest, glory to God
in the highest, glory to
God, glory to God
and on earth, peace
to people of good will.

Lord Jesus Christ,
Only Begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of
God, Son of the
Father, you take away
the sins of the world,
have mercy on us,
you take away the sins
of the world, receive
our prayer, you are
seated at the right
hand, the right hand
of the Father, have
mercy on us.
Glory to God in the
highest, glory to God
in the highest, glory to
God, glory to God
and on earth, peace
to people of good will.
For you alone are the
Holy One, you alone
are the Lord, you alone
are the Most High
Jesus Christ, with the
Holy Spirit, in the
glory of God the
Father. Amen
Glory to God in the
highest, glory to God
in the highest, glory to
God, glory to God
and on earth, peace
to people of good will.

Responsorial Psalm

I Love you, Lord.
I love you, Lord.
I love you, Lord,
my strength.

The Creed

I believe in one God,
the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and
earth, of all things
visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord
Jesus Christ , the Only
Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father
before all ages, God
from God, Light from
Light, True God from
True God, begotten
not made,
consubstantial with
the Father, through
Him all things were
made.
For us men, and for
our salvation, he came
down from heaven
and by the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the
Virgin Mary, and
became man.
For our sake,  he was
crucified under
Pontius Pilot, He
suffered death and was
buried, and rose again
on the third day in
accordance with the
Scriptures.
He ascended into
heaven and is seated
at the right hand of
the Father. He will
come again in glory
to judge the living and
the dead and his
kingdom will have no
end.
I believe in the Holy
Spirit, the Lord, the
Giver of Life, who
proceeds from the
Father and the Son,
who with the Father
and the Son is adored
and glorified, who has
spoken through the
prophets.
I believe in one holy,
catholic and apostolic
church. I confess one
Baptism for the
forgiveness of sins, and
I look forward to the
resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the
world to come, Amen.

Communion Hymn
Ubi Caritas
Laurence Rosania

Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.
Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.

We gather together
in the love of Christ;
let each one be glad
in him and rejoice.
Our God is alive, the
God of love is near,
so love one another
with a heart sincere.

Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.
Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.

We the many become
one body as the Spirit
binds, and we seek to
be one in Christ and
one in heart and
mind.
Let all quarrels, all
division, all our
conflict cease.
Then will Christ truly
dwell among us as
our Lord of peace.

Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.
Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.

Then joined with the
blessed, filled with
hope and grace,
dear Lord in great
glory may we see
your face.
Our joy none can
measure, joy that
knows no end,
resounding from
endless age to age
Amen.

Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.
Ubi caritas et amor
Deus ibi est.

Take the Word of
God With You
Christopher Walker

Take the word of God
with you as you go.
Take the seeds of God's
word and make them
grow.
Go in peace to serve
the world, in peace
to serve the world.
Take the love of God,
the love of God with
you as you go.

Take the peace of God
with you as you go.
Take the seeds of God's
peace and make them
grow.
Go in peace to serve
the world, in peace
to serve the world.
Take the love of God,
the love of God with
you as you go.

Take the joy of God
with you as you go.
Take the seeds of God's
joy and make them
grow.
Go in peace to serve
the world, in peace
to serve the world.
Take the love of God,
the love of God with
you as you go.
