Registered parishioners (must
be registered for 3 months prior to step 1):

Call the Office of Social
Ministry.

A priest will contact you
for an appointment.

You will begin your paper
work with a priest and be able to choose the date and time for your
wedding and the rehearsal.

You will meet with the
Director of Social Ministry to go over the regulations and details
of having a wedding here at Saint William. You will also receive
two pamphlets to help you complete the preparations for your
wedding.
**There is a six month waiting
period between your meeting with the priest and the wedding date.
This allows for the completion of the paperwork, attendance at the
Engaged Encounter Retreat, completion of the Pre-Marital Inventory, and
any other paper work that must be completed.
**Please note that if either
person has been married before, regardless of where the marriage took
place, an annulment must be obtained prior to planning the
wedding. You should contact a priest for further instructions on
the annulment process.
